Joseph Pflanzer, MD, attended the Catholic University of Louvain Faculty of Medicine in Louvain, Belgium, and received his medical degree in 1967. Furthermore, he conducted his internship at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Montreal Children’s Hospital in Montreal, Canada, followed by his residency in pediatrics performed at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in New York, and residency in pediatric allergy & immunology at Roosevelt Hospital Allergy Institute in New York City. In addition, Dr. Pflanzer received board certification in allergy & immunology from the American Board of Allergy and Immunology (ABAI). He remains a member of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology. He speaks French, German, and Italian in addition to English.
